Accolades To Horses At Heart’s Deborah Weiss Our Founder And Program Developer Deborah Weiss Recently Received A Visionary Leadership Accolade From Aurora-Newmarket MPP Dawn Gallagher Murphy On Behalf Of The Government Of Ontario.  Congrats!!

Deborah has created and facilitated programs for Horses At Heart since 2003 and has been instrumental in building community relationships that connect community members in need with Horses At Heart programs. Hundreds of children, at-risk youth, and adults with mental health challenges have been support by Horses at Heart programs and have come through collaborations with York Hills Child and Family Services, Canadian Mental Health Association, and York Region Police Department to name a few.

“I am honoured to receive this leadership recognition from MPP Dawn Gallagher-Murphy, and to have had our Members of Provincial Parliament attend our musical ride presentation. We were able to showcase the work Horses At Heart does, and for others to see the enthusiasm and shining smiles on the faces of the youth who come through our programs” said Deborah Weiss. “I know that all of us at Horses At Heart are constantly delighted by the achievements of our participants, and we were so happy to share that with our community leaders and media.”
