Volunteering for Horses at Heart
Volunteering for Horses at Heart is a very special opportunity in that you can help providing positive experiences and support to families, individuals, and groups in our community who utilize our programs.
Enjoy the beautiful scenery, magnificent horses and the delight of being close to nature while part of a team of compassionate individuals who are interested in participating in a number of different ways:
- working one on one with our program participants
- helping in the barn
- grooming and feeding the horses
- assisting in special events
- contributing to the maintenance and improvement of our beautiful property
Because all farm and agricultural volunteering can be deemed as student community hours, any volunteer work at our facility that contributes either directly or indirectly to Horses at Heart programming, or that contributes directly or indirectly to our farm or farm animals, will count towards student community hours.
